Jakarta, 29 April 2022, During Ramadan 2022, PT XL Axiata, Tbk (XL Axiata) held a series of programs and activities. This time, the XL Axiata Future Leaders (XLFL) and the XL Axiata Taklim Council (MTXL) collaborated to offer food help to the poor in 13 cities. Students participating in the XLFL program distribute assistance to recipients directly. Aceh Besar, Aceh, Bengkulu, North Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Jepara, Lombok, West Lombok, Central Lombok, Banjarmasin, and Gowa districts are among the cities that implement this program.
XL Axiata's Group Head of Corporate Communications, Tri Wahyuningsih, said, "As part of the community, we also want to always share with the surrounding community, especially when the momentum is very appropriate, namely the Holy Month of Ramadan. Donations are given in the form of food. We hope that the activities that we carry out will be useful for the community and get blessings in this holy month. The target of this activity is to help people who are in difficult economic circumstances. In addition, this activity also aims to influence people around us to do the same, through a video with the theme #BersamaSebarKebaikan which will be created by students who are XLFL participants.”
Ayu added that this is one part of the XLFL and MTXL Axiata Program which aims to help Indonesian people who need assistance. With the help of student beneficiaries of the XLFL program from batches 9 and 10, the committee in each city will create a short movie with the topic #BersamaSebarKebaikan, which will then be distributed to urge the community to do the same.
XL Axiata has already held a number of activities as part of its Ramadan 2022 programs. One of them is the distribution of donations for laptops and Internet access, as well as donations of basic food packages for a number of Islamic boarding schools in various cities in Indonesia. Furthermore, XL Axiata will hold a joint homecoming program for credit sellers by providing transportation facilities to various cities on the Java and Sumatra islands.
XL Axiata West Employees Distribute Donations
XL Axiata employees through the XL Axiata Taklim Council (MTXL) provided donation support in the form of rice and cash to children at the Al Kahfi Foundation, Medan Perjuangan. The donation was given directly by the Head of Direct Channel XL Axiata Region West, Nadra Dwiyana, Head of MTXL Axiata West Region, Maf'ul Taufiq to the Al-Kahfi Foundation Assistant, Tri Dwi Puja Astuti at the XL Center Medan office, Jalan Diponegoro No. 5 Medan, Tuesday (26/4).
Head of MTXL West Region, Maful Taufiq, said, "MTXL continues to be committed to spreading kindness and being present in the society, especially in dealing with various social problems and disasters. Through MTXL Axiata, employees take the initiative to immediately distribute aid to people in need,"
Taufiq added that this is one part of the MTXL Axiata Program which aims to help Indonesian people who need assistance. The aid fund distributed by his party is the result of collecting zakat funds for XL Axiata employees which is routinely collected every month and managed by the XL Axiata Ta'lim Council. Plus the financial assistance collected from XL Axiata Region West employees.

Hopefully in this blessed month, XL Axiata will continue to progress and develop. This donation is highly expected to help economically disadvantaged children, fatherless, motherless, and orphans.
