Both features are available for XL Prepaid and AXIS customers through the myXL and AXISNet applications. With these two features, XL and AXIS customers can still communicate when they run out of credit and ensure their credit remains safe from services outside the main package, such as paid SMS, basic internet tariffs, and SMS for a content subscription.

Moharram added that, based on customer feedback, one of the problems they often face is unexpectedly running out of credit. It later became a reference for XL Axiata to create an emergency credit feature to use anytime and anywhere. For example, in an emergency, when a customer runs out of credit and does not have access to purchase credit, they can easily access the myXL/AXISNet application to borrow emergency credit to purchase internet, call, or SMS packages. Payment will be deducted automatically when topping up or transferring credit in the amount of the loan and the admin fee.

In addition to the emergency credit feature, XL Axiata has also launched the credit control feature as a means for customers to control their credit. The Credit Control feature is a service that allows customers to lock their credit balance so that the credit will be protected from usage outside the main package.
With this feature, customers don't need to worry about their credit balance running out without realizing it. These outside uses include paid SMS, SMS for content subscriptions, and basic internet tariffs.
