Body-Worn Camera For Security
PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata), through XL Axiata Business Solutions (XLABS), has partnered with the Indonesian National Police (POLRI) to support security for the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) in Bali using Body-Worn Cameras. XL Axiata is providing a high-quality 4G network and SIM cards for these devices, demonstrating its commitment to supporting the government in ensuring the success of international events.
Yessie D. Apart from that, in collaboration with POLRI, XL Axiata Business Solutions is again presenting digital solutions to contribute to securing international celebrations."
The Body-Worn Cameras used by the National Police and the WWF security team are devices attached to jackets or vests. These cameras are deployed by security personnel stationed in key areas, including Ngurah Rai International Airport, the ITDC area, and the GWK area.
Additionally, XL Axiata is providing connectivity support for HT Push To Talk devices used at
the Command Center at the Bali Regional Police, the Mobile Command Center in Nusa Dua and the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, as well as operational support for the National Police ICT Division's Command Center during the WWF event.
The Body-Worn Camera is a surveillance device with several advanced features beyond recording activities. It includes 32 GB of memory, allowing for 20 hours of continuous recording, and a battery life of up to 8 hours. The camera is equipped with a Global Positioning System (GPS), supports live streaming, and connects to command center officers via the XL Axiata 4G network.
Additionally, the camera has an infrared feature for night-time recording and an emergency button (panic button) for use in critical situations. Pressing the panic button triggers an alarm at the command center and automatically sends the officer's coordinates. These Body-Worn Cameras are used by Traffic Corps (Korlantas) officers, Mobile Brigade (Brimob), the National Police ICT Division, and Densus 88 to ensure security during the WWF event.
