Jakarta, April 2nd 2020. PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) continues the daily 2GB free access program according to the Government’s decisions to extend emergency response in efforts to lessen the spreading of COVID-19. All XL Axiata customers, whether they are using XL, AXIS, or XL PRIORITAS cards/services, including XL Business Solutions for corporate customers and XL HOME Wireless home internet services, are eligible to benefit from this program as it is valid for within the period of April (1st -14th April 2020), customers can activate this program through the myXL, myXL Postpaid, or Axisnet applications. In addition, XL Axiata also increased the number of universities in which students could access their online lectures by utilizing the daily free 2GB (data) program, as well as free access to the Covid-19 Hotline channel.

Dian also added that in addition to the daily 2GB free access program, XL Axiata also brings in extra benefits which include access to additional materials in 7 (seven) universities/campus, namely; Universitas Padjajaran, Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Nusa Cendana Kupang, Universitas Tanjung Pura, and Universitas Sebelas Maret. In total, there are currently 14 universities are eligible for free online access through this program. Also, the daily 2GB free quota (data) can be used to access additional applications and websites from pre-existing ones, namely for Kelas Pintar and Schools.mu, as well as Rumah Belajar, and the portal of the Ministry of Education and Culture (https://belajar.kemdikbud.go.id/).
Other benefits include free access to the Covid-19 hotline(s): 112, 117, 119 and the official portal of the Covid-19 Response Management Acceleration Task Force (Gugus Tugas Percepatan Penanganan Covid-19) which is included on the official website (https://www.covid19.go.id/). This is an extension to pre-existing free access program to Covid-19 information channels, through official sources, such as the Ministry of Health (https://infeksiemerging.kemkes.go.id/) and the website of the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta (https://corona.jakarta.go.id/).
The daily 2GB program was launched by XL Axiata on March 18th 2020. The free 2GB quota (data) could be used by customers to access a number of applications or data services that can help the process of learning or working from home. These educational and functional applications include; Udemy, Ruang Guru, Zenius, and Rumah Belajar for students, along with various applications that customers can access to support their work activities at home, such as; Microsoft Office 365 yang meliputi, Microsoft Exchange, Share Point, One Drive, Microsoft Team, and Skype for Business. For XL PRIORITAS post-paid customers, the same benefits as stated above also still applies. In addition, XL PRIORITAS also provides special benefits, such as, 15% discount for customers who need a larger quota (data) by upgrading to a larger package or purchasing data booster and voice booster until April 30th 2020. XL PRIORITAS also provides packages with a large data quota up to 100GB / per month, fully equipped with Mifi. With this package customers will be able to work more comfortably or study from home using a modem that can be accessed simultaneously to several devices at the same time.
Even with the increased spreading of Covid-19, XL Axiata has never stopped supporting not only for the community but also for the government. Recently, XL Axiata also provided support in the form of telecommunications and data services, network strengthening at a number of hospital locations, to the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) through BNPB.
