The Ministry's support for this initiative aligns with the government's efforts to create an inclusive and supportive environment where women have equal opportunities to thrive and make significant contributions to the economy.
Bintang encouraged all parties concerned with the empowerment of Indonesian women to continue ensuring that every woman in Indonesia has access to necessary resources to achieve success.
Dian Siswarini shared, "Today, with the Sisternet Festival 2024, we mark an important milestone in empowering 1 million Indonesian women. At XL Axiata, we believe that technology and innovation are key drivers of positive transformation. Sisters' Data Bonus Program for 1 Million Indonesian Women
The Sisternet Festival 2024 is also launching the Sisters' Data Bonus program on myXL for Indonesian women. This program addresses the significant digital gap within society, particularly between men and women. Limited access to the internet can restrict women’s opportunities to fully participate in education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
The program aims to empower women through technology by providing extensive internet access to one million women across Indonesia, supporting their educational pursuits, careers, and social interactions. This access is expected to enhance their ability to use technology for various daily needs, including marketing their products and expanding their customer reach.
To take advantage of this program, customers, particularly Indonesian women, need to download the Sisternet app and sign up as members. They can then redeem data quotas via a banner on the app's homepage, which will automatically be credited to their XL or AXIS account. The program is available from July to December 2024.
Female Future Leader
Sisternet also introduces its latest program, Female Future Leader. This initiative is designed to empower and develop leadership skills among women, especially female students in Indonesia. It is part of XL Axiata's commitment to supporting the growth and success of women in various fields, particularly in leadership and entrepreneurship.
The program aims to develop leadership qualities, improve professional skills, provide motivation, and help participants build professional networks. Participants will benefit from training and workshop sessions, mentoring, and hands-on experience.
