JAKARTA. FEBRUARY 26, 2025 – PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata), through its XL Axiata Peduli Program, has distributed aid to disaster victims in Indonesia. These include victims of Mount Ibu eruption in West Halmahera, North Maluku, as well as flood victims in Bandar Lampung, Lampung, and Pekalongan District, Central Java. In the case of an emergency calamity, relief is limited to basic essentials. The distribution was carried out by XL Axiata representatives, in collaboration with the Benihbaik Foundation, directly to the affected communities last week.

Reza Z. Mirza, Group Head of Corporate Communication at XL Axiata, stated, "We are very concerned about the disasters that have devastated various locations in Indonesia, particularly in Halmahera, Lampung, and Pekalongan, causing many citizens to flee their homes. XL Axiata hopes that by providing this aid, they will be able to alleviate the victims' burden and provide their basic necessities during this catastrophe. We are also working closely with local authorities and government officials to ensure the smooth distribution of supplies. We hope the situation improves quickly and the community can continue their usual activities."

This is meant to enable those in need of communication to stay in touch with their families or the authorities. XL Axiata's 4G network covers the majority of the impacted areas. Despite the unfolding calamity, XL Axiata's services remain functioning, allowing the public and the field employees to communicate.
