One of the strategic steps that was then taken was to take over the shares of PT Hipernet Indodata, which is a provider of managed services for telecommunications and information technology. Last Tuesday (22/3), the Company and Bridgefield Prime Investments Pte. Ltd., Ameisys Global Technologies Pte. Ltd., PT Mitra Indo Asia, and PT Magna Karya Archipelago, as shareholders of PT Hipernet Indodata, signed a Conditional Share Purchase Agreement.

Hipernet Indodata is a managed service provider in the field of information and technology that is completely customizable to customer needs. The services include providing and managing information and technology resources, both software and hardware, as well as the necessary human resources, as well as managing customer-owned resources.
Internet management, WiFi, cloud, professional information technology services, and other business application services are among the technology and information services available. So far, Hipernet has served customers with corporate needs in various fields, including hospitality, tourism, health, finance, to retail.
This share acquisition aims to increase the company's competitiveness in order to offer telecommunication products and service solutions to the corporate/enterprise market. The corporate segment, which is currently served by XL Axiata Business Solutions, is one of XL Axiata's current focuses because it makes a significant contribution to supporting the growth of the company's performance in line with the corporate industry's growing and increasing needs for the availability of integrated ICT services in line with XL's vision. Axiata prioritizes convergence services to support these companies'/corporations' operational activities. In business terms, the joining of PT Hipernet Indodata will strengthen XL Axiata's position as a digital service provider for the corporate market.
XL Axiata has signed a Conditional Share Purchase Agreement that gives it 51 percent ownership of Hipernet Indodata shares, or 2,805 shares, for a total transaction value of Rp 321.3 billion. After XL Axiata purchased shares, other parties who became shareholders of PT Hipernet Indodata were PT Mitra Indo Asia and PT Magna Karya Archipelago.
Currently, XL Axiata serves more than 57.9 million customers, which is strengthened by more than 162 thousand BTS, including more than 77 thousand 4G BTS. The 4G LTE network of XL Axiata is also expanding, with more than 458 cities/districts in various areas of Indonesia being covered. In addition, XL Axiata continues to invest in fiber networks, transmission, backhaul, network modernization, and other network upgrades to increase network stability, capacity, and data service quality in response to the growing demand for telecommunications services, particularly data services.
