Jakarta, 14 April 2023, PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) has received several recognitions for its achievements and business performance. Director & Chief Digital Transformation and Business Enterprise Officer of XL Axiata, XL Yessie D. Yosetya won the award as The Most Influential CIO 2023 in the iCIO Awards 2023. Then, XL HOME won two awards from the Asian Telecom Awards 2023, namely Broadband Telecom Company of the Year and Marketing & Brand Initiative of the Year.
The award was given to Yessie D. Yosetya based on the assessment of the jury who saw her as one of the CIOs who successfully became an innovator in driving the implementation and utilisation of digital technology, so as to increase the value and best performance in accordance with business objectives.
Yessie said, "It is an honour for me to be awarded as The Most Influential CIO, this award is not only hard work from myself but also thanks to the support and cooperation of the entire team and XL Axiata employees. This award will certainly be an encouragement for me and my team to provide even better in the future".
The iCIO Awards is an award that recognises the achievements of CIOs and CEOs from various industries and backgrounds who have successfully become innovators in driving the implementation and utilisation of digital technology, so as to increase value and best performance in accordance with business objectives.
The assessment of this award is based on various parameters that show efforts in supporting the acceleration of digital transformation, sharpness and good reasoning to improve business competitiveness and provide the best value to the stakeholders of the organisation or company.
XL HOME won 2 awards from Asian Telecom Awards 2023
Meanwhile, XL HOME service won the prestigious Asian Telecom Awards 2023 which took place in Singapore. At the event initiated by Asia Telecom magazine, XL HOME won two categories, namely Broadband Telecom Company of the Year - Indonesia and Marketing & Brand Initiative of the Year - Indonesia. Head of Product, HOME & Convergence XL Axiata, Michael Dadyhans and Head of Marketing, HOME & Convergence XL Axiata, Bianca Hardini received the award plaque in Singapore, 6 April 2023.
Director and Chief Commercial Officer of XL AXIATA, Abhijit Navalekar said, "This award from the prestigious Asian Telecom Awards 2023 means a lot to us as we work hard to develop Indonesia's first convergence service "XL SATU". This award also recognises the international telecommunications business for XL HOME's performance and XL Axiata's efforts in building converged services."
Abhijit Navalekar added that XL Axiata launched XL SATU service in 2021 as the first convergence service in Indonesia. This service is to answer customers' needs for a simple internet service that combines home and mobile internet services for the whole family. By combining marketing programmes and local campaigns thoroughly, it hopes to increase as many customers as possible from the family segment.
XL HOME's wins in both categories of the 2023 Asian Telecom Awards were based on assessments that referenced XL HOME's initiatives on uniqueness and innovation, effectiveness, impact, and dynamic development. The jury consisted of Head of Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Head of Clients & Markets Development of KPMG Asia Pacific, Darren Yong, Asia Pacific Telecom, Media, and Entertainment Sector Leader of Deloitte Michinori Sato, EY-Parthenon Asean Leader, EY Asean Technology, Media & Entertainment and Telecommunications Leader of EY, Joongshik Wang and Global Technology, Media and Telecommunications Industry Leader of PwC China, Wilson Chow.
