Jakarta, 11 July 2022. Majlis Taklim of XL Axiata (MTXL Axiata) re-facilitated the management and employees of PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) as well as congregations to help and distribute qurban animals on Eid al-Adha 1443 H. On this occasion, MTXL Axiata distributed qurban animals at Musholla An Nur Syafa'ath, Pasar Manggis, Setiabudi District, South Jakarta. President Director & CEO of XL Axiata, Dian Siswarini also witnessed the handover and slaughter of the sacrificial animals on Sunday (10/7).
Head of MTXL Axiata, Yanuar Tirta Kumaya said, "MTXL Axiata wants to enliven the moment of Eid al-Adha 1443H as a means to inflame the spirit of sacrifice according to Islamic law, increase gratitude, spread kindness and benefit to people in need. To promote these goodness programs, MTXL Axiata facilitates the management and employees of PT XL Axiata through the collective collection of qurban funds or the deposit of qurban animals. Thank God, the funds collected this year reached more than Rp. 400 million; we have distributed it to several regions in Indonesia, one of them is located in Jakarta and Thank God, the process of delivering and slaughtering sacrificial animals was witnessed by the top leadership of XL Axiata.”
Yanuar added that the spirit of sharing that has a positive impact on the community will be continued through other social programs through the collection of collective funds for zakat, infaq, shadaqoh and waqf. According to him, MTXL Axiata also wants to continue to be present in the midst of society to provide solutions as well as broadcast and enliven moments of Islamic holidays and certain national moments so that God's blessings will be given to the management, employees and all company stakeholders.
The qurban animal distribution program carried out by MTXL Axiata this year facilitated 93 parties who sacrifice the qurban (mudhohiy), 92 “mudhohiy” distribute in the form of funds and 1 “mudhohiy” in the form of qurban animal (cow). MTXL Axiata runs a program for distributing sacrificial animals every year, with this program it can facilitate and simplify the management and employees of XL Axiata and the congregation in carrying out the qurban worship by simply registering, selecting the qurban animals according to the criteria or ability of the “mudhohiy” parties with a choice of various weights and places.
