Meanwhile, for CEO of The Year, Dian Siswarini is considered successful in leading the company in maintaining financial performance throughout the pandemic. Bisnis Indonesia Award 2020 was initiated by the leading business newspaper Bisnis Indonesia to appreciate the glorious performance in this challenging pandemic. This year, this event carries the theme Resilience in Pandemic with a jury led by Roy Sembel, a business practitioner who is also an academic. The assessment is based on financial performance for the last three years, from 2018 to September 2020. This period is considered to be a dynamic and challenging business growth phase. The judges also consider the aspects of the story and the people behind the numbers, as well as the consistency of the issuer, to remain within the corridors of good business practices.
