JAKARTA, MARCH 27, 2025 – PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) is once again organising its Free Joint Homecoming Program for XL Axiata's retailer partners in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek) and its employees. This program involves 600 participants who travel to several cities in West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, and East Java. XL Axiata provided 12 big buses, 5 Innova units, and 5 Alphard units. On Thursday (March 27), XL Axiata's Director & Chief Commercial Officer - Consumer, David Arcelus Oses, and the company's management officially sent off the homecoming group from Cibis Park in Cilandak, South Jakarta.
David Arcelus Oses stated, "This joint homecoming program, which has become a tradition at XL Axiata, is expected to assist retailers and employees in returning to their hometowns to celebrate Eid al-Fitr. This facility is also part of XL Axiata's Eid compassion campaign #BerbagiKebaikanDiHariFitri, which aims to motivate retail partners and reinforce conventional distribution and sales channels. We hope that our retail partners grow even more excited about promoting XL Axiata's products to consumers and the general public."
According to David, the joint homecoming endeavour will also help the government ensure that holiday travel proceeds smoothly. This year, in addition to transportation, XL Axiata has added various amenities to improve participant comfort, including souvenirs, pocket money, and travel insurance.
Some participants received a premium homecoming experience in luxury vehicles such as Alphard and Innova. These are the retailers who won the Sales Racing Competition, ensuring a comfortable voyage home. Total of 40 participants from 10 retail outlets across Greater Jakarta (covering areas such as Depok, Bogor, East Jakarta, South Jakarta, North Jakarta, Bekasi Regency, Bekasi City, and Tangerang Regency) won this exclusive reward.
Along with the retailer homecoming program, XL Axiata is arranging a similar program for employees and their families, with stops in West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, East Java, and Sumatra. Around 135 employees and their families are taking part in this initiative.
The employee homecoming program is also part of the XL Axiata Baik initiative, which spans from Ramadan until Eid 2025. The employee homecoming group will depart from the XL Axiata Tower office in Jakarta on Thursday (March 27) by three buses.
Book Donations and Charity for Orphanages
In addition to organising free homecoming programs for retailers and employees, XL Axiata also runs a CSR campaign that includes book donations and financial support for orphans in South Jakarta. A total of 250 books have been gathered and will be handed to the Melati Taman Baca Foundation in Ampera. These books are appropriate for reading and were collected from XL Axiata employees. XL Axiata is also providing financial assistance and school supply packages, along with daily necessities, to an orphanage in the Ciputat area. The symbolic handover of these donations took place alongside the joint homecoming event at Cibis Park.
