AXISLABS 2023 AXIS Invites Students to Collaborate and Innovate for the Young Generation

The winners of AXISLABS 2023 will receive a cash prize of IDR 50 million for first place and IDR 15 million for second place. In addition, there are other benefits obtained by the participants in the form of allowance, direct mentoring by professionals from AXIS team, and the use of co-working spaces in each city that can be used for meetings and brainstorming.

Jakarta, 16 November 2023. AXIS' commitment to support various programs to develop the characteristics of Indonesian youth continues. This time, AXIS presents AXISLABS 2023 which invites students to collaborate to express creative ideas and ideas and develop them into innovative works. So far, the AXISLABS program has resulted in two new feature developments from AXISNET. AXIS is committed to launching both feature development ideas.

Running from May to November 2023, the program has attracted more than 2,000 participants in Jakarta, Surabaya and Medan. In collaboration with Narasi, AXISLABS program began in May 2023 at six universities across the three cities, namely University of Indonesia Jakarta, Bina Nusantara University Jakarta, Surabaya State University, Airlangga University, North Sumatra University and North Sumatra State Islamic University.

 

From the 2,800 participants who registered for AXISLABS 2023 at the initial stage, around 150 people were selected and then proceeded to the next session, the interview. From the interview session, a total of 30 were selected, divided into 6 teams representing the 3 cities. All selected teams were then given several workshops related to product ideation and development. Furthermore, during the one-month program, participants were also mentored directly by professionals from AXIS team, where every week there were always milestones that had to be passed starting from research and insight, product ideation, campaign development, to pitching innovation.

 

After one month of the program, the six finalist teams continued their journey with a proposal presentation to Leaders from XL Axiata. The first place winner was a team from Jakarta with a case study of Alifetime loyalty program at AXISNET and the runner up was a team from Medan with a case study of KATAAXIS feature at AXISNET. The winners received cash prizes worth IDR 50 million for the first winner and IDR 15 million for the runner up. In addition, there are other benefits obtained by the participants in the form of allowance, facilitators who are qualified in the field of product development, to the use of co-working space in each city that can be used for meetings and brainstorming.
