Jakarta, 17 October 2023. SMK Nusantara West Jakarta team emerged as the runner up in the biggest inter-high school futsal tournament in Indonesia, AXIS Nation Cup 2023. In the final round match that ended with a score of 1-6 against SMAN 8 Makassar, Sunday (15/10) at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, they had to settle for runner up. For this achievement, SMK Nusantara Team won a prize of IDR 50 million. Director & Chief Enterprise Business & Corporate Affairs Officer of XL Axiata, Yessie D. Yosetya handed over the trophies and prizes to the champions in a very lively celebration.
Winning against SMK Nusantara in the final, SMAN 8 Makassar team won the AXIS Nation Cup 2023. Meanwhile on the same day, the third place match was also held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, SMAN 11 Semarang beat SMAN 1 Masbagik – East Lombok with a score of 4-2.

Meanwhile, Chief Marketing Officer of XL Axiata, Alfons Bosch Sansa, said that after more than a month of AXIS Nation Cup being held in various cities in Indonesia, finally got the champion. XL Axiata's goal of holding this program is very successful, where it can showcase high school futsal teams that are full of talent.

SMK Nusantara West Jakarta's journey so far has not been easy. Starting from the preliminary round held on 11 - 13 August 2023, the team captained by Reno Firmansyah had to first set aside around 200 schools in DKI Jakarta, Bogor, Bekasi, Tangerang and Serang areas.
The AXIS Nation Cup 2023 Grand Final event was also enlivened by energetic performances from JKT48 and Diskoria. There was also an entertainment match between Shafira Ika Putri (National Team) and Aganta VS Vonny Felicia and Ciccio Manassero (Actors).
Involving more than 1,200 schools with more than 12,000 athletes from 30 cities across Indonesia, AXIS Nation Cup 2023 also received widespread attention from the public, especially young people. More than 100 thousand visitors watched throughout the preliminary rounds in six regions that took place in Serang, Tangerang, Bogor, Bekasi, Jakarta, Bandung, Cirebon, Yogyakarta, Purwokerto, Semarang, Solo, Denpasar, Surabaya, Malang, Mataram, Aceh, Medan, Palembang, Padang, Jambi, Pekanbaru, Lampung, Pontianak, Balikpapan, Samarinda, Banjarmasin, Manado, Gorontalo, Palu and Makassar.
