The Strongest Data Network

Supporting the government's focus on complementing the domestic tourism infrastructure which usually surges during the year-end holiday season, XL Axiata continues to expand and increase network capacity in various regions in Indonesia. At present the XL Axiata network has been strengthened with more than 129,000 BTS including more than 53,000 3G BTS and more than 39,000 4G BTS. XL Axiata's 4G LTE network has also continued to be expanded, and is now available in 410 cities / districts in various regions in Indonesia. XL Axiata also continues to invest in fiber networks, transmission, backhaul, network modernization, and various other network upgrades to increase stability, network capacity, and data service quality in line with the continued increase in data service traffic.

More specifically, the XL Axiata network infrastructure in the Lake Toba region, including Samosir Island, is supported by more than 750 BTS, including nearly 550 data BTS (3G and 4G). Meanwhile around Silangit Airport, which has become a new access to Lake Toba via the air route, XL Axiata has also placed around 40 BTS 4G and 3G. As for the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) region, 2 BTS in Lombok and 6 BTS in Sumbawa. For USO BTS in Sumbawa, there are in three districts namely Bima Regency, Sumbawa Regency and West Sumbawa Regency. To date there have been more than 3,000 new customers in the region. Currently in the entire West Nusa Tenggara region, XL Axiata has more than 4,900 BTS including more than 3,000 BTS data (3G / 4G). For the NTT region, XL Axiata has built more than 400 BTS in NTT, 90 of which are 4G BTS network providers. Until now the XL Axiata network has been available in 21 cities or districts in East Nusa Tenggara, with the number of 4G BTS as many as 90 BTS and available in 15 cities or districts. These cities include Alor, Belu, Ende, East Flores, Kupang City, Kupang and Lembata.
