JAKARTA, JULY 4, 2024. PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) once again received appreciation for its achievements and performance by successfully winning the best award in two categories at the 2024 Selular Awards. Hosted by Seluler.id, XL Axiata excelled in the categories of Best Women Empowerment Program and Best Operator for Business. Additionally, Mix Magazine presented the Indonesia CorpComm Dream Team journalist choice award.

Dian Siswarini, President Director & CEO of XL Axiata, stated, "Winning all the awards at the 2024 Selular Awards event is a great honor for us. These awards, given by institutions and the public, including our media colleagues, hold significant meaning for us. All of these awards also signify a responsibility to maintain and elevate our standards, aiming to enhance customer and community experiences with the innovation and services we provide, thereby enabling everyone to #BeBetter.”

XL Axiata obtained the Best Operator for Business title, underscoring its achievement in developing and delivering services that cater to the solutions of business professionals. This aligns with the theme of the 2024 Selular Award event, themed "Moving To The Next Level". As the event's initiator, Selular Media Network appreciates the industry's efforts to tackle ongoing challenges, from post-pandemic recovery to global crises. The role of technology and digital innovation is increasingly important in advancing national development and fostering inclusive knowledge. Emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things offer significant promise for society.

In the Best Women Empowerment Program category, XL Axiata's success is attributed to the Sisternet initiative, aimed at enhancing women's empowerment. Sisternet has conducted hundreds of training sessions to enhance women's skills and productivity. Moreover, it organizes smart capital competitions for women-owned MSMEs. First introduced in April 2015, the Sisternet website and app have attracted over 500,000 women members nationwide. Since 2020, the Sisternet app has been accessible via mobile phones, with ongoing enhancements drawing increasing member engagement.
