BALIKPAPAN, OCTOBER 16, 2024. In an effort to continuously deliver quality services and support the developing infrastructure in East Kalimantan, PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) has officially opened a new office and XL Center in Balikpapan. This inauguration coincided with the celebration of XL Axiata's 28th anniversary, marked by a ceremony led by Sarroso Dwi Panggah, Caretaker of XL Axiata Kalimantan Area, on Saturday, October 12.
Sarroso Dwi Panggah stated, “The presence of the new office and XL Center in Balikpapan demonstrates our commitment to providing accessible services and being closer to the people of Kalimantan, especially in Balikpapan. We hope this new facility will not only serve as a service center but also be part of our efforts to contribute to the surrounding community.”
The new building, located at Jl. Jendral Sudirman, SOHO BSB Block G15, Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, is designed with a modern and comfortable concept to meet the needs of customers in the current digital era. It replaces the previous office and XL Center, with better services for customers and the Balikpapan community.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, XL Axiata also provided assistance to orphaned children present at the launching event. This activity reflects the company's commitment to supporting the communities around its operational areas.
Through the new office and XL Center in Balikpapan, XL Axiata aims to make a greater contribution to enhancing telecommunications access and improving the quality of life for the people of Kalimantan.
