Medan, 13 December 2023. PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) continues to strengthen customer service as one of the spearheads of efforts to improve the customer experience. One of the strategic steps that has been realized is the launch of customer service in a new concept called ''XL AXIS Service Point''. Since its introduction to customers and the public in September 2023, 100 XL AXIS Service Points have been available in more than 70 cities/regencies throughout Indonesia. This new concept of customer service outlets, among others, is to help customers activate forfeited cards, card replacement services, and XL Priority lists.
Group Head of Indirect Channel Management of XL Axiata, Junius Khoestadi, said, "We hope that the presence of an XL AXIS Service Point will make it easier for customers and the public to get XL Axiata services. Card replacement services and reactivation of lost numbers are among the most needed by customers, so the presence of XL AXIS Service Point is to increase service capacity for customers whose home location is far from XL Center."
Junius added that card replacement services and activation of forfeited cards can be done at XL Centers or XL Center Online. However, with the limited number of XL Centers and the time required to send cards online, the solution to expedite these services is to come to an XL AXIS Service Point. Customers can immediately get a replacement card after meeting all requirements. XL AXIS Service Point is presented in collaboration with XL dealer offices and retail Outlets located far from the XL Center, making it easier for customers who need card replacement services at that location.
Some cities/regencies that have XL AXIS Service Point services available include Banda Aceh, Batam, Jambi, Lampung, Medan, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Bekasi, Cirebon, Cimahi, Brebes, Temanggung, Ngawi, Nganjuk, Pacitan, Probolinggo, and many more. The location of the nearest XL AXIS Service Point can be seen at https://www.xl.co.id/bantuan/xlcenter- lokasi or can be searched through the nearest Google Maps.
To date, XL Axiata's 4G network has served 57.5 million customers in Indonesia, with service coverage in more than 61 thousand villages/sub-districts, 5,700 districts, and 469 regencies in 38 provinces. More than 158 thousand BTS, with the majority being 4G BTS, and a fiber optic backbone network that stretches for more than 159 thousand km support the data network spread across most of the vast Indonesian archipelago.
