JAKARTA, APRIL 5, 2024. PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) is once again organizing a Complimentary Homecoming Initiative for sales partners and retailers of XL Axiata's service products from the Jabodetabek area, as well as for its employees. Over 500 participants are taking part in this program, bound for various cities in West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, and East Java. XL Axiata has made arrangements with 12 large buses, 5 Innova units, and 5 Alphard units for this purpose. David Arcelus Oses, the Director & Chief Commercial Officer - Consumer at XL Axiata, along with the XL Axiata management team, bid farewell to the departing group from Cibis Park, Cilandak, South Jakarta, on Friday (5/4).
David Arcelus Oses said, "The homecoming program, a cherished tradition at XL Axiata, aims to assist retailers and employees in returning to their hometowns to celebrate Idul Fitri or Eid. In addition to this, the initiative underscores XL Axiata's commitment to fostering #EaseofSharingGoodness and inspiring retail partners while reinforcing traditional distribution and sales channels. We hope that our retail partners will be further energized in promoting XL Axiata products to customers and the broader community."
David emphasized that this collective homecoming initiative also contributes to the government's efforts to facilitate a seamless journey for those returning home. This year, in addition to transportation provisions, XL Axiata has introduced various amenities to enhance participants' comfort. These offerings include Eid gifts, souvenirs, pocket money, and travel insurance.
Some fortunate participants were granted premium homecoming arrangements, riding in lavish Alphard and Innova vehicles. These individuals are the accomplished retailers who succeeded in winning the Sales Racing Competition, earning them the privilege of being chauffeured to their hometowns. In total, approximately 40 winners hailed from 10 retail outlets in Jabodetabek.
Concurrently with the retailer's homecoming initiative, XL Axiata is also facilitating a homeward journey program for its employees and their families, enabling them to reunite with their loved ones in West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java, and Sumatra. Around 135 employees and their families are participating in this homecoming endeavor.
The employee homecoming initiative, along with their families, is integrated into XL Axiata's series known as XL Axiata Baik, spanning from the onset of Ramadan until Eid 2024. The group of XL Axiata employees homecoming participants will depart from the XL Axiata Tower office in Jakarta on Friday (5/4), utilizing a fleet of 3 buses.
