Jakarta, 27 November 2023. PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) succeeded in winning the SMK3 Gold Flag (Occupational Safety and Health Management System) from the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker) of the Republic of Indonesia. Director & Chief Technology Officer of XL Axiata as well as Chairman of the XL Axiata Occupational Safety and Health (P2K3) Advisory Committee, I Gede Darmayusa received the award in Jakarta, on Wednesday (22/11).

 

The Gold Flag is an award, in addition to a certificate for companies that have implemented SMK3. This is regulated in Government Regulation Number 50 of 2012 to determine whether a company passes the SMK3 audit or not. The SMK3 gold flag is awarded to companies with a score between 85-100% of the selected company category (initial/transitional/advanced).

 

I Gede Darmayausa said, "The SMK3 Gold Flag award means a lot to us, and winning it is not easy. The process is quite long, including us having to really implement all aspects of SMK3 in business processes at XL Axiata in accordance with the regulations of the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower. Apart from that, we also ensure that all employees understand the importance of K3 and apply it in their daily work. "With this Gold Flag, we hope to be able to establish broader business cooperation with partners who prioritize occupational safety and health aspects."
