Jakarta, 18 September 2023. The application of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles in the business world is also starting to be applied in the Indonesian Mining Industry. These efforts are realised through digitisation, namely by modifying processes to increase the efficiency of electricity and gas energy use, switching to energy sources with much lower carbon emissions. This has the potential to reduce carbon emissions by 5% to 20%. In addition, it is also possible to replace diesel-fuelled mining trucks with electric or hydrogen-fuelled trucks."
According to Feby, Private Network is a solution that strongly supports green mining operations, therefore it will be very suitable for use by mining industry players. The discussion about "Green Mining with Private Network" was presented by XLABS at the Nickel & Battery Summit 2023 event, last August.
