Denpasar, 2 July 2023. PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) through the XL Axiata Future Leaders (XLFL) program, held a workshop for Balinese students on how to prepare themselves for the world of work. The workshop was held in Denpasar with debriefing material on Corporate Culture and How We Can Prepare for It delivered by XLFL Program Leader, Dwi Kartika Sari with the XLFL team. On this occasion, Human Capital (HC) also participated by presenting Find The Right Opportunities presented by XL Axiata's Senior Talent Acquisition, Yosepha Sistine. This is intended so that students have basic knowledge & better preparation before entering the world of work/professionalism. This activity took place last Sunday (25/6).
The workshop was held in collaboration with the Udayana University Career Development Center (UNUD) and BEM UNUD, with the theme "Ready For Work, Unlock Opportunity For A Bright Future Career". The number of participants was no less than 500 students from various faculties, and various Bali campuses attended activities that were carried out for 2 days from 24 to 25 June 2023. At this event, XL Axiata also shared knowledge about how the recruitment system works at XL Axiata and the industrial world in general.
With this knowledge, participants can find out how private companies recruit employees, and what recruitment participants must prepare in order to qualify. The Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Ray Maya Temaja, M.P., IPU, also attended the event.
Group Head of XL Axiata East Region, Dodik Ariyanto, said, "Through the XLFL program, XL Axiata tries to share knowledge about preparation for entering the world of work with sufficient provisions, which are always needed by students who have graduated and are ready to enter the world of work. We hope this workshop can make it easier for participants to get a job and build a career.”
Dodik added, XL Axiata really appreciated UNUD for allowing XL Axiata and XLFL to share knowledge through this debriefing. Some UNUD students are also participants or have received scholarships from the XLFL program. There are at least 15 UNUD students who have participated in the XLFL program and are currently working in various companies besides those who are still in the XLFL program.
In the same event, XL Axiata's Human Capital team also shared information about company profiles, recruitment, the XStar program, and XLKM. Human Capital of XL Axiata also provided a booth to provide relevant information and answer questions from job seekers and students attending this event.
The public, especially Indonesian students, can also access the XLFL education program through the elearn.id platform for free. Various materials for improving soft skills are available on this platform, which can increase students' knowledge and skills which are very useful for self-development. These materials are not widely taught on campus or in formal education. Through this platform, students can get various courses on leadership, soft skills, and career preparation.
